consuming, the new methodology puts at the disposal of the member far more intelligence than grandma ever dreamed of.
Social networking puts it all in the light of day, keeps a record, and attracts more members along the way. Many clubs have Facebook groups where members can invite friends to view the holdings, or go to the cyber or live meetings. Those who master the technology also master the capital.
When the grandparents invested, it was entirely based on their belief in a stock. Today’s investment clubbers are much more apt to put their money in something they can enjoy while it appreciates. Fine art, wine, classic or exotic cars, vacation rentals and yes, even castles have attracted the new breed.
