Arica Chile Hotel Casino Golf Resort Development Opportunity

Arica, Chile

The only first world country in South America also has what may be the best opportunity for development of a resort destination.

Located near the northern border, Arica is a city of 200,000, in one of the most uniqe environments in the world.  Here the Atacama Desert meets the Pacific Ocean, creating perfect weather of 65 to 78 degrees.  A safe and friendly environment with high literacy and much English spoken, Arica attracts many vacationers and cruise ships, despite it’s lack of a 4-star hotel.  The new, international airport is 2 kilometers away, and is a breeze to navigate.

World famous giant geoglyphs, the 5000-year old Chinchorro mummies, and Peru’s nearby Machu Picchu site make this an Archaeological wonderland.  World class surfing, including the famous “El Gringo” point break, line the western edge and beaches south of the available property.  Can Am-style racing is half a kilometer away.   Sand boarding, the desert equivalent of snow boarding, was perfected in the area’s giant dunes.  High altitude desert lakes of Chungara and Titicaca are day trips as well.  The area is fast becoming a trendy stop for stars.

Famous for its seafood, Arica has great restaurants, but is ready to upscale.  The skilled worlforce, tourism base, and existing, successful small casino make obvious the opportunities in providing higher caliber restaurant and resort product to the region.

Arica is the land of opportunity.
